self publishing process
How can you self publish a book and sell it on Amazon? Any idea how this process would be the cost?

Thank you

Your best bet is to use Lulu.com. It offers a variety of ways to get your work in the book / electronic format and in places like Amazon. There is a free way, which involves the use of the label Lulu on the spine of the book. You get an ISBN number, but you have little control over the outside of the book. In addition, there are many books published about this so do not be "in stock" on Amazon, even if they are technically still in stock (Lulu is an on demand self-publishing services printing). The other way is to pay for distribution and get your own ISBN, with your name editing "on the side (what you wanted it to be). In this way, can cost you about $ 100 for the ISBN and distribution rights for the Amazon and generally, once approved, there are problems. $ 100 is fair for United States if. You must pay packages for distribution to different parts of the difference in the world (Canada, United Kingdom, etc.). Is something as $ 100 for each different general location (and they do not sell everywhere, obviously, because Amazon is not everywhere yet). Lulu is generally very good. They have many shapes and sizes book (hardcover and paperback). others you can look in CreateSpace, iUniverse, Xlibris, suburb Press, Wheatmark, AuthorHouse, and there is no longer managed by Amazon that I do not remember. They all have different policies. Some costs a lot of money, others do not. You'd better check them all individually to see which is best for you. Personally, I do think one or Lulu the term Amazon is the best because it is cheap and the quality is not necessarily less. Generally, if you want to have some hundreds of books printed, it would be virtually impossible to get on Amazon. Certainly if you had an ISBN number, it might be feasible, but to be honest, you'd better pass by one of POD companies that try to do it yourself. You have enough stress trying to promote and sell your book to make a little money and get it out there. Just be careful what you pay for. Always read what these companies say. There always in small print. They are in this to make money, too, remember, and sometimes that means taking advantage of people who do not know better.
