Which group (s) do I enter my book?

I am in the process of self-publishing my book. The book covers 11 generations of my African American family. It's 250 pages and two chapters are devoted to each generation (1640-present). It says something like "Alex Haley's Roots" in that it is in narrative form. This is not a fiction, but I used documents, my genealogy and oral history to put the story together.
