What classes do I need to take, and how do I go after to become an editor or a publisher?
I am a Major English, and I do not want to be stuck after I graduated. I would be able to find a job with a publishing house. But I'm afraid, I spent 4 years of my life headed in the wrong lane to get to my goal. My minor is journalism, and German. Help!
I was going to say what the first two respondents said, I will not. I distinguish between two jobs: Publisher is a business man and as such an MBA degree would probably be a good addition. You probably have what you need to be an editor except, perhaps, experience. Have you served as editor of something in college? You may have to start a publishing company for employment low level and work upwards.
