What are the differences in children's books when you're used to writing novels for adults?
the eighth anniversary the niece of my arrival in May, and I decided to write her a little self-published novel. (Note: .. I do not think to bring Charges for sending the project that I will print one or two copies of the book, and I plan on using Blurb.com services) I think she reads on grade level, and his favorite series is Junie B. Jones. She just now entering the chapter books. Do you have any tips for writing books as a second grader to understand and be entertained by? Many authors (such as Roald Dahl) thought about writing children's books to be much more difficult than writing for adults. It because you have to transmit information using simple sentences and shorter words. Children have shorter attention spans also, if you "keep" their interest throughout the story. My advice is to not write anything too long, and choose a topic you niece is interested I do not know of specific websites, sorry.
