I want to self-publish a short novel containing 200 pages. What would be the printing cost for 1000 copies?

I want the cover and pages to be of international standard. I’d be grateful if somebody told me the price of per copy. I want the book to printed in India.

Thank you for your time Let me elaborate a bit more: the book is meant for selling in market; for I don’t need to worry since I’ve found distributors. I want the book to be like the ones we see from Penguin and Harper Collins. I said international standard because some hundreds are supposed to be sold in European countries. In India, I want to sell it for Rs 299 that is less than $5. I wanted to know the cost of book in that respect. Please suggest!

your problem it seems that you are going to publish a book for first time. if you are from India, how can anyone living out of India help you properly? you must get in touch personally. to begin with, what size do you want? what type of cove page? what language? what type of binding? with or without jacket? etc etc.
best is to meet personally with your manuscript, discuss and exchange views and after due deliberations, go for printing.
