publishing of common sense
Why society (Americans in particular) has become "dumbed down" or have lost their desire for independent thought?

It seems to me that we never ask for the things we say. we tend to believe everything told to us by our government. where some studies suggest different why do we stifle those who publish and remove from the wrath to those who suggest that we look at them? For example, we usually thinking get under our school desks would save us from the atomic bomb. Our government tells us many things and work with us in a frenzy and every one about money for them, especially. Two examples are secondhand smoke, and ozone. Remember the panic K2000? What happened to common sense and independent thinking?
