I applied for a short journalism course at the London School of Journalism?

I studied international relations and have obtained a major in Law of Human Rights. However, as my passion has always been writing, I decided to enroll in a journalism course short term (12 lessons) at the London School of Journalism. Do you think it would be a useful qualification to pursue a career in journalism or editing? Also: I am Italian so English is not my first language but I speak five languages. Would it be extremely difficult to obtain employment if I am not a native speaker?

If you want a job in a newspaper or news agency, I recommend you take a look at Cardiff and City University (both 12 months) since both have a very good way of people getting a job good journalism. As to languages, it depends how frequently you are, your question I guess you're quite common. Being multilingual is a big plus if you want to work for one of the major news agencies International. You should also try to get as much work experience in journalism as possible because it is the key to getting a career in journalism.
