publishing fiction novel
I wrote a novel (non-fiction), based on my actual chat / message to someone. Is it worth publishing?

There books were written based on personal correspondence. Until the modern era of email and instant messaging, it would be especially to hand in letters. Wish I could think of a good example for you, but I'm at a loss. A librarian may be able to help you find these books. Also, I wonder if you need the written consent of the other person? Legally, handwritten letters are the property of the receiver. I am not sure this is the case for electronic communications. I think that whether or not you can attract the attention of a publisher will depend largely about who you are and / or the other person and the object of your correspondence. Important publishers want to publish books they think they can sell – not yours have wide enough appeal to be commercially viable? Your other option would be to self-publish, but expensive, or publish online. ** Also, if Please understand that a novel by its very definition is a work of fiction. Your book is not a novel.
