Ask a doctor and now I feel very intimidated by him and all his family have done …?

I was recently asked by a much older doctor. I find him very attractive and I think it is reciprocal. I work with him and I am a nurse, just graduated and still learning. He comes from a long line of doctors … I was the first in my family to graduate from college. He is a published author, like his father and grandfather. I am also compare myself to his ex-wife, he was married nearly 20 years before their divorce 3 years ago … She has a master's degree in nutrition, is a published author and is a health nut, run marathons, performing consistently. I'm suddenly afraid to go to that date. Here I am a mother of 33 years single, never married, just get my degree in nursing Associates … have not done all that much from him, his family standards of success (Yale, Harvard, etc.) and his ex. Could people who have these different levels of education and status and success really compatible?

Would not worry about it. It is obvious that sees something in you, and I am sure that if you tell him how you feel, it will probably reassure your comfort you or you will accomplish much in your life. He is older than you, so it's been a lot of time to "do much".
