What DTP program can I use for small businesses that is inexpensive but good?

Hi, i want to start a small business Online personalizing invitations, announcements, labels, etc. I am not a designer, but I'm very creative when the reason for this risk. What programs can I use to create these types of products that is inexpensive to start and do not make me go back to school for desktop publishing? Also, do you know of any printers that work with small business owners for these types of products?

A great program of desktop publishing cheap to do what you're looking to do is Microsoft Publisher. I have a / Sign printing and I really customers who use it and I even used it myself from time to time
