Resume writing for a magazine?
Here's the deal: I am an English major applying for an internship at a magazine. The internship is part of a courses offered at my University. However, I have to go through the entire job search process, which means that I must prepare a curriculum vitae, and interview. This also means that I do not have the internship based on the interview and / or recovery. I have absolutely no experience. I do not even know what it takes to talk about this area. Journalism? Edition? Editing? I do not know. I am lost and confused. How do I prepare my resume? What skills are relevant? Should I talk about my previous experience, even among retailers? What should I write the letter? Please help!
I am not sure .. but it might help if you add it .. In the magazine there are usually journalists and publishers special … So I'm guessing that your job is to edit a magazine .. .. Another thing is your interest in the magazine, if you want to write a letter of motivation … You must show that you know how they are all about .. and such items they write. You might need to add something on advertising .. writing things about their product .. I dunno hope that helps … I'll edit if I find something else
